Intel GPU Mining
« on: April 08, 2013, 10:10:29 am »
Does anyone know of a mining program that uses any Intel integrated graphics card?
I'm asking becasuuse that is the only card that i have :) and don't have money for ATI or nVidia :) , and I used the same graphics card in wifi creating (wordlist and rainbow tables), cracing and it used it before.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with 3.2.6 kernel with dual core T3200 2.0 GHz, 3 GB RAM and the graphic card is Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M.

I would be thankful for any help!

You won't have much luck with an integrated GPU, but at the current state of profitability y'know it might not be a bad idea.

I'll look into it if I have time.. but you might as well hit up a store to buy a new Radeon.  Right now profitability on Litecoin is extremely high and if Litecoins go any higher, your equipment will pay itself off in a week.

OK, thanks for your help. i was looking for the help on this subject and as far as I can tell it's a big no-no for intel gpu. I was just wondering is there any way that one can mine on intel gpu, and how!
Anyway - thank you for your help. I'll look into what you said :)
